Built-in alternatives

Every essential explanation has a text equivalent. Interactions use standard buttons, checkboxes and disclosures. Nothing requires dragging, hearing audio or responding within a time limit. The site respects reduced-motion preferences.

Our target

The design target is WCAG 2.2 AA, with additional attention to reduced motion and cognitive load. Automated checks do not establish conformance. Manual screen-reader, keyboard, zoom and device testing must be completed before a conformance claim is published.

All topic pages and sources remain readable. The homepage presents the different fictional states as text and graphics. The text-only guide contains the complete explanation without dynamic controls.
